Not a problem with my trucks, but here goes: The Armoral that I put on the vinyl roof of my wife's Cougar has run down onto the quarterpanel paint. I can't get it off. I have tried diesel fuel, Windex, brisk rubbing. What will cut this stuff?

 

YOU can try rubbing alcohol, it worked for me.

 

Armoral will ruin a vinyl roof or dash pad. Use baby oil maybe 3 times a year.

 

Oh great, that's a tough one.

I've been in the same situation, and not even MEK got all of it out. The stuff (or anything with silicon in it) will soak into the steel itself.

I've used solvent, alcohol, detergents, etc...

There always seems to be some residue left that's a (female dog) to paint over later.
