Good news everybody. The annual Micke Grove Park show in Lodi is scheduled for 4-4-09 from 9-3. It was advertised in the Crusin News by the Delta F-100 Elites. It costs $5 per vehicle to get in the park (unless Arnold has raised our fees) and the show is $10 if you want to enter a vehicle. Just BYOB (bring your own beef) There is plenty of BBQ space on the big pits. We will be leaving Antelope at about 7:30AM. Our meeting spot is the Carls Jr at Antelope Rd and Zenith. Anybody wanting to caravan with us just show up. Hope to see you there, Jag

 

Cool! Haven't been to that one in two years! Not sure if I can make this one either, but if I can I will be there in a non Ford.

I just drove my F250 right past there on Sunday, I'm sure it'll be up for the trip again...I'm in!

I`m just about ready to bolt the AOD on the 312 so as you can see, as I have said before, I`m not very fast but I sure am slow. Awful lot to do with cross members, wiring,
new oil cooler lines, TV cables, all kinds of things that I want to be done correctly.
It`s just a matter of time. Forgot, I`ve got to pull the old engine. More time consuming.

Dagnabit.... I have to photograph a wedding near Fresno that day. I really wanted to go to Lodi with my truck.

 

You'll be driving right by. What time is the wedding? Maybe they'll reschedule? Jag

 

1:30... I have to get there by 10:30am to start taking photos. I am bummed about missing it, but this is a good friend's wedding and my gift is to photograph it for them.

We have a group of five vehicles meeting at Carl's Jr in Antelope at 7:00AM. (On the corner of Zenith and Antelope.) We will be eating breakfast and then leaving about 7:30. We will be caravaning south down the 99 at 55-60 mph. Do the math and it puts us in Micke Grove at about 8:30.
