Power Steering Leak

94 F 250 351 W- I have a bad leak somewhere around the pump, that I can't seem to find. Does the reservoir have any pressure in it that could cause it to come out of the cap?

Overfilling or turning the wheels with engine off will cause fluid to come out of the cap.

It started about 3 weeks ago, started with a spot getting larger everyday in the driveway. The only place it seems the fluid is coming from is around the pump, I have watched it idle and turning the steering wheel but no sign of a leak.

Leak happen at the shaft seal, the big o-ring that seals the reservoir to the pump body, the pressure regulator valve where it threads into the pump output port, or the steel line that screws into the pressure regulator valve. Spray it down with some brake cleaner and then start it up to watch for the first sign of a leak.

Finally found it, it is the connection to the reservoir. It would only leak at higher speeds but finally saw a drip from it. Thanks for the replies.
