Replacing ball joints on 2002 F250

I'm trying to find out what you need to do to replace the upper and lower ball joints on ford f250 2002. Not sure what I need to do to get the housing that the ball joints are pressed into off the axle. I have it to that point and have that housing loose however the 4 wheel drive shaft is in the way. Any help would be great Thanks

The axle shaft slides right out.

Read this, from our very own RacerGuy, from this forum's tech folder ... https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/3...ll-joints.html

Good luck
