Yes! Actually, it's the finishing and sanding I'm glad to be done with, that's the part I don't like! Hey, I'll be curious to see how the truck is running. Didn't you change the carb on it?

Ya, the building part is fun and the finishing part is not fun. Ya new carb and the headers are supposed to be here on friday. Switched from a 1095 Barry Grant King Demon to a 1050 Pro Systems Dominator. The header tubes and collector are bigger which should help with flow but still give lots of torque.

I will post up some pictures of the new stuff on Sunday when I get back. If you are coming through you could go for a 1/4 mile ride.

Yeah, just what I need Mile, for you to scare the crap out of me!!LOL! When we do get back out that way, I was planning on letting you, Orin/Michelle, and Scott know, so I could swing by and visit. Scott only lives about 20 minutes or so from our house we have up at Lander.

It goes straight as an arrow so you really just hold the pedal to the floor and shift when the yellow light flashes.

I'd be all over that!! I haven't been to the drags since the late 80's, driving anyway. Used to go to the strip just west of Omaha, but it closed.

Good Morning Ken, Miles, and the Wyoming crew! Miles, your right about the track closings. We had a great dirt circle track on the edge of Omaha, called Sunset Speedway. Some idiot developer decided to build a neighborhood right next to it, out in the middle of nowhere, and when the people moved in, they bitched about the noise! Man, I was PISSED when they had to close down. So people are just clueless.

Good Morning Ken, Pat. Every year that we go to Bandimere Speedway in Denver the houses get closer and closer. I have a bad feeling that they are going to start hearing about the noise in the season coming up.

Yeah, how dare the race track make all that noise, bothering us in our lovely home that we were stupid enough to buy next to the track, then bitch about!

Morning Miles....Can you tell this is an irritating subject for me??LOL!

Yes Pat but you are not alone. Bandimere just repaved the entire track with concrete and put in a buried radiant water system to heat and cool the track so the track temp stays pretty consistent from April until September. Now Highlands Ranch is approaching from the east. I have heard rumblings about the track moving way out east by DIA and adding a circle track for Nascar events.
