MIG Welding

Hi all, I got a MIG welder recently, got some practice with flux core wire and was starting to run some nice beads so I figured it was time to get the argon/CO2 mix and practice for real... only problem is I don't see anywhere in the documentation how much gas pressure I should use. Can anyone help me out with some guidelines? Thanks

OOPS, ok, I found a couple of posts with conflicting info but it looks like 15 to 20 cfh is the magic number, is that right?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Jan-03 AT 07:32 AM (EST)]Sean, I think 20 cf/h is common and there is additional information in the Garage/Workshop forum that may help. When converting to gas from flux core wire I think you also have to reverse the polaity of the wire. Good luck

Thanks Tom, I got the polarity switch covered, that was really well documented in the manual and on a sticker on the welder's access panel. The only thing not there was the gas pressure I was wondering why it wasn't working so well at 5cf/h!!!
