I saw your pics in another post Stewart & decided to mount mine there, but I didn't have the JMS dash mount... The only problem I have is that when the truck is in gear, the shifter pretty much blocks the display. I'm not sure if I'm going to get the JMS mount & try & move the switch up some, or i'm going to move it somewhere totally different & find something else to fill the hole with.
Hmmm, I do have to lean slightly forward when I change tunes while I'm driving, but don't have that problem.
Here's a picture of mine with the lever in drive, and the steering wheel turned slightly just for picture clarity.

Time to figure out where I want to mount it.
Some have used a sliver-thin bead of silicone adhesive to keep it securely mounted.
On a similar note, can this same mount be used ford a Hydra? I ordered a Hydra recently and didn't have the option of the USB extention or hard mount. Not quite sure how I'll mount it yet. I had the hard mount for my DP and liked it.
Well, got it done! Placed it so it would cover a couple of holes that were in the dash (probably from a mic mount, 10-4). I made a cardboard template first and traced the hole to the tape. Took more filing than I thought it would. I ran into some plastic support framing under the AC duct, so I ended up dropping it down about a quarter of an inch. Turned out pretty decent - maybe 1/32" off - definitely something I can live with, though!
