Trash bag.
Keeps the bag with the container of soup from the chinese restaurant from tipping over on fast corners.
Design engineers HATE empty space. They'll put something useless in there just to avoid it.

I am sure they could have found better uses for it but being a trash bag hook i use it as one instead of throwing my trash elsewere, thus in my case a usable trash hook.
Probably not a good place to hang your keys. If you hang your or your friends g-strings or panties there i hope their clean, it's not too far from the heater you know.

Drivers side glovebox is not available if you have the manual transfercase.
No upfitter switches! Bad!!!
The hook is a cheap replacement for the old ashtray that used to be there. But it makes it easy to find your code for your door entry keypad, just remove the hook and look way back in there to see the security module that has the code on it!!!
I use my hook to hang a box of tissue on, it's actually kind of handy.
