Water Methanol?

Water Methanol?
i have a 02 7.3 with DP-tuner, Ball Buster turbo, afe stage 2 intake, 4 inch turbo back to an Aero turbine muffler. I want more power and need to cool down EGTs, i like the look of the Snow stage 3 water meth kit. I want to know if that would be a good move?

Water Injection, Methanol Injection, Alcohol Injection Systems | Coolingmist

Check out there kits, better pumps, better controls and better nozzles.

Been running water injection for over 150k without issue.

Second here for Coolingmist over a Snow kit. Heard of way too many problems with Snow's stuff over the years. Installed a Coolingmist Stage II Diesel EGT on a friends truck back in November and he's had not a single issue so far. I don't anticipate him having any problems either.

Wouldn't injectors be the next step.

A local friend of mine on here Ziggy runs it with his truck and he really likes it and sees some good benifits out of it for himself. You should PM him his name is Ziggy. .

Not sure injectors would help with lowering EGT's though, which was one of the things the OP cited as wanting.

Yeah, I see he wants more power and to run cooler. Maybe both.

Are those kits just run water or do you need to have a special mix in it? Also what kit would be best for a 7.3 with light mods. They have many kits but not sure which would be needed.

i'm also interested in this, but how much water/methanol does this thing use? I'd hook it into windshield washer tank but will it work with windshield fluid?
