2001 f150 propain/ gas

Hi, im thinking about buying this 2001 f150 thats both propain and gas (factory option)..

Just wondering if thats a bad idea or what you guys think. I have tried looking it up on the web but theres nothing about it. The truck has about 125 km and has been taken care of very well.

Let me know your oppinions, thanks!

If you have a ready and reliable source for propane go for it. I have owned many LP vechicles over the years and most have been trouble free inexpensive to operate trucks

Good Luck

Just make sure both systems work before you buy. The electric valves on those factory systems can cost a fortune to replace.

I know its an old thread but... $3500 to be exact. and at 125k, it probably isn't going to be long before those valves go. I have seen a TON of ex gov't trucks that either leaked or didn't work at all. However, IF it is all good, you will not find a better running system, I have never been able to feel a difference between gas and propane on them.
