Fog lights
Hi all, I am looking to put stock OEM Ford fog lights on my 2000 f-250 and had a few questions.
1. I have found the wiring harness at the left headlight, do both lights plug into that one connection?
2. Does Ford make a wiring harness that connects the lights to this connection?
3. Do i need to put in fuses and or relays?
4. My truck does not have the fog light switch with the headlights/parking lights, how will this work?

My guess is you don't have the options in your harness for connecting the fogs as well as not having a harness for the lights themselves. Someone else may confirm this. I didn't on my 06.
You will have to wire up to your own supplied switch/relay.
Correctly wire and fuse the circuit.

Your fogs will be brighter with a dedicated PWR source. As has been suggested on here, put Sylvania Silverstar 9007 in them and they will be BRIGHT!
You will have to trim the housing a little and tweak the latch.
If you don't want to do that, use the SS 9005, they fit but not as bright.
Run a hot lead (12 GA) to both lights to a relay near the battery. Attach the 12 GA to the relay along with the batt 12 GA. Run a line from a switch inside to the relay to activate it. That's about all there is to it. Oh, don't forget a fuse or breaker inline.

The plugs for the fog light may be on the harness. This is called a give-a-way, on the harness. It saves Ford money, on having more wiring harness part numbers. The harness for the fogs, probably has the leads for both fogs. And the headlamp swith connector, may have the wires for the fog lamps their also.
