Welcome Brian, would like to hear about your 56 also !! Went to Derelect Donuts in H.B. this AM and saw a 56 F100 for sale -- the note in the cab said " over 135 K invested" but did not mention what he would talke for it !!! It was a beauty - candy red and definately Show Conditioin !!!

Thanks for the welcome! I currently have a 54 F100 that I purchased at age 14 (her nick name is Bessie) as the first auto I purchased so I decided to keep it - forever! Its in 1,000 pieces right now as I'm in the midst of a frame off restoration. Progress is coming along and I hope to have the rebuilt engine back in within a month or so.

My 56 F350 is no longer with me! Due to the move, I had to let something go. I sold it to a gent in Montana that is taking good care of it!

I sure like the weather here as I can work on my truck year round - gets a bit cold in the shop up north.

It must have been difficult to part with your '56, but at least you have the consolation that she went to a good home.

I hope you'll give us a few pictures every now and again to document the progress on your 54 resto - sounds like a fun project.
