1991 F250 XLT Lariat "Rear Antilock" trouble light staying on
#20
A few days ago I bought a used 1992 F-250. Everything was fine after driving about 50 miles, until the tires locked up and I slid through a stop light (during the damned snow we just had). Lo and behold the RABS light turned on along with the check engine light. I located two separate black wires with orange stripes underneath the glove box (neither were connected to anything). I tried grounding both wires several different ways but had no luck with the RABS light blinking (just glowed solid). Hoping someone can help. I will try to post a photo of the wires.

i have this issue to. The light was on. So i looked under the dash. The orange and black connector was unplugged. I didn't know if it was supposed to be since it's a diagnostic connector. So i grounded it and with the ignition on and engine off it went off. When i started the engine the light came on and it blinked three times. Then it blinked a 9 times. So if it is supposed to be connected where would it connect? I'm going to shoot the wires and make sure they are all good and clean the sensor for good measure. Thanks.
