Need Mailorder source for replacement fuel tanks (plastic), sending units, and extra heavy duty clut
I have a 1990 F250 Ext. Cab, 4x4, w/ 5 speed, 7.3 diesel that I am ordering a new engine for, with beefed up pistons, valves etc. so I may add turbo, intercooler and propane kit.
I need a much more durable clutch than the stock one.... also, I need to replace my fuel tanks (rust) and would prefer plastic...and, I also need to replace the sending units in the fuel tanks...
would greatly appreciate help in locating mailorder sources for these items.... preferably, discount.... already spending a small fortune for the engine... he he
Thanks,
rick fine

Try Centerforce for the clutch, there almost indestructable. They come in 3 stages and I had the heavy one behind a pumped up big block and a history of not being very nice to trucks with NO problems. Are you looking for a fuel cell type tank, or a replacement exact to stock, only plastic?

If you want a clutch that will stand up to anything that 7.3 can put out call Bill at 504-827-5300, in New Orleans, The Brake Shop. He can set you up with a ceramic button clutch that will not slip or overheat. Gas tank wise check with MTS company in Iowa, 800-522-1622, they make a tank out of polyethylene, 5 year warranty against cracking. Same material the army uses in their armored vehicles.
