ok my friends friends friend(ok you can stop laughing now) has an f250 with clears and stuff and he has clear roof clearance lights, can someone please tell me how where i can get these or whatever, im getting an 02 f250 and so i need to know if i should get roof clearance lights and then make those clear, or just buy some after i get it. please help. thanks!

 

Any lens that is a different colour will stay that colour.
The plastic is impregnated with dye,IOW amber is amber and will stay amber.

Is there a name like *Dominion* on them ?
Do you have a close-up photo ?

I've never seen clear roof light lenses.

Are you sure they weren't other lights just put on the roof.

There are several differant style cab lights, Ford, Dodge etc. i've seen clear cab lights before, but like dennis said, they werent really cab lights, just utility lights on top of the roof.

My advice is to get them on your truck from the factory (to ensure wiring and holes are there), then get these guys to custom make clear lenses for you.

In my APC travels, I found a clear clearance light kit from apc, at godfather customs.

I'd still order them from the factory, I dislike drilling into new a $35,000 truck!

 

If you're looking for diamond clear H4 replacements try looking for the Matrix GR Motorsports lights, they are awesome! P.S I haven't found a link for them yet.

I bought them from the F-150 World store.

They have them at God Father Customs also.

 

thanks for all the help guys, hopefully ill see the dude this weekend and be able to ask him, he always goes to his friends house which is done the street from my friends house and i saw him like 4 times last weekend driving by but wasnt able to stop him and ask him.
i was almost positive APC would have something like that, ok now my question is, should i order them from the factory so its all wired and then just replaced them with the APC ones?
i havent bought my f250 yet but i plan on buying it in the next couple of months and want to get some stuff figured out before i get it and wish i had done something else, im guessing they are just like headlights, theres the wire to the bulb and the bulb just like screws into the housing, so buying clear APC ones i could just replace the yellow housing with the clear housing and id be fine. can someone please verify this for me?

Yes all your replacing is the lenses themselves, so go ahead and order your truck with factory cablights.
