Road Trip
We took a trip from central Pa to Daytona, Fl 2 weeks ago in our 98 5.4 EB. About 15 1/2 hours each way. 2 adults, 4 kids. Truck was great, no issues. Average mileage was about 14mpg. Don't know if that's normal or not, but I'm not complaining. Truck has 106k miles on it.

13-14 is about what I average on a highway ride. I travel to my summer vacation home (310 miles one way) about 10 times over the course of the summer and with 4 people, a black lab and bags of clothing for the weekend, and if I take it easy, I can do 13-14. Probably about 90% of that is highway. My best ever was 17. Must have had a really strong tailwind that weekend.
My Expy has been flawless. I love this truck and can't say enough good things about her. A few big repairs along the way, but other than routine maintenance, she's been awesome!

Just got back from the Keys. Ride from KW to CT. was around 28 hours total driving time, not counting stops, gas, stops, blah, blah. Towed a 30 ft travel trailer. Great place to spend some time in Feb. My mpg avg was...................7mpg.
