It should fit. Pretty sure the bumpers are the same.

You bought the lower valence for your 2000 from the dealer, and it wont fit? Are you sure they gave you the right one?

the one they gave me would attach to the bumper on the ends with a tab on the bumper, mine does not have that tabs. Is there any difference between the 01-04 lower valences ? I figured i would probably have to drill some holes but that was it, oh well maybe i'll just do an 05 front end conversion for $ 500 from certifit.

I'd just go for the front end swap. It's pretty easy.

Check your local classifieds, I found a new take-off bumper with valence for $80, right color too.

Got a link for this? This question of doing the conversion and where to get the whole deal seems to come up ever week.

I had two different parts on my 1998 Mustang GT to be "superseded" by a later year part. The parts fit but there were minor differences in the designs. I had to replace the passenger side window molding and Ford provided the part for the 1999 to 2004 model year. I had to replace the truck panel that covers the break lights and the original fasterners would not work with the new panel. The parts guy just said that those were the only part that was available.

Quick question on the lower air dam. I just picked one up today for my 03 F250. My truck also did not have one when i bought it. Did you get mounting screws with yours when you purchased it from the dealer? I can't find anywhere on the internet what size I need to get to install it. Anyone know what size screws I may need to mount mine up?

Forgot to mention that the upper valance does have the clip nuts still in it, just looking for the size screw or bolt to mount the lower.
