I can get a hold of a sweet step rear bumper from a 94 ford bronco dirt cheap. Will it fit on my 78 f 150??

 

Ask the seller (or whomever) for the center-to-center dimension of the inner bolt holes. If they are the same as your rig, then all is well.

I have a Bronco contour bumper on my 73. Broncos have less body overhanging the frame so some fabrication will likely be required to extend the brackets - all four brackets (two inners and two "wing" or outer brackets).

Anything can fit with the right amount of fabrication & this bumper is the same.

Will it bolt right up to your truck? No.

Can it be made to fit fairly easily? Depends on what fabrication skills you have, but it should be pretty easy.
