What kinda food ya looking for?
The 99 Steakhouse is right down the road. They've got some good bacon cheeseburgers. Plus they've got booths with ample seating for all that show up. Only problem could be the wait in line.
You could always go to the Applebees/Chillis down the road by Home Depot or if you go the other way you could go to Colony Diner. It's relatively small though so a large group wouldn't fit all at 1 booth.
There's another diner down by Chilis/Applebees that I've never been to, but have heard is decent.
To get to Applebees/Chilis/larger diner from On-Track carting.
Turn right onto Route 5 out of the On-Track parking lot. From there you continue down the road until you see Home Depot on your left. Chili's can be accessed from the same driveway as Home Depot. Applebees is to the right at the same intersection. So is the larger diner. Behind Applebees/the larger diner is a Lowes.
To get to 99 I believe is a left out of the On-Track lot and it will be on your left.
To get to Colony Diner you take a left out of the On-Track lot and head down the road a ways. You'll see a Taylor Rentals on your right followed by a McDonalds. Directly across from McDonald's will be Colony Diner.
If you continue down Route 5 until it intersects with East Center Street you will pass several car dealerships and a NAPA and a Catholic church on your right. Once you are at the intersection you continue straight through. There will be a cemetery on your left with walls around it and the first parking lot (I think) on your right once you are through the intersection will have a decent pizza joint with decent seating. Not sure if you'll be able to fit the marshmallow van, Dave.
I'll try to think of more places and maybe find a map of the town so I can draw this out rather than trying to explain.

Do we have an actual start time for breakfest? As usual my Saturdays are full of projects and items off the honey-do list, but I should be able to get at least breakfest pulled off.

You can please all of the people some of the time...some of the people all of the time...but...you can't please all of the people all of the time!!! Good luck with your GTG!!!

Hmmmm.
The leader should Not Decree a time nor date, less Connecticut become a dictatorship.
So meeting at about 9:30 a.m for breakfast would give us time to get to the restaurant and accommodate traffic delays (stragglers).
That would give us about an hour to eat and cash out , and get over to the track.
Personally, I rather be at the track early and hopefully the Honda crew gets to watch us zoom around, than for all of us to stand around by default watching the Honda guys having fun.
Not that we can't use the standing around time for further socializing amongst ourselves.
I have not noticed any posts from Andy concerning his friend looking into places for breakfast.
Nor have I heard any complaints about IHOP.
I guess breakfast is our default rondeavue.
We can settle on lunch while at the track.
The Diners would have breakfast, but I doubt those Restaurants would have a breakfast offering.
So gentlemen:
We need a vote on:
Saturday or Sunday
(is the track even open Sunday?)
Where for breakfast?
IHOP or a Diner
(IHOP opens at 6:00 a.m. versus Diner's open 24/7?)
Gather in the parking lot at what time?
9:30 or ?????
Well you see my votes.

BAHAHAHA!
I was just cruising around the Honda Ridgeline forums because those morons are always good for a laugh. I went to their northeastern section and looked to see where I'd have to go to crash a meet.
They're planning a meet at On-Track Carting on the 21st of February!
2/21/09 - Meriden, CT Meet - Honda Ridgeline Owners Club Forums
Let's make sure everyone's rigs are at their shiniest. Possibly bring a chain or two. Might need to drag a couple Ridgelines around the lot.

Andy, thanks for checking up on breakfast places
I propose breakfast at Wallingford's IHOP.
Pete since you live in Wallingford, please recommend some other breakfast places in Wallingford so we can have some options, like Diners.
I'd rather not go for a breakfast at a fast food place like McD's and the likes.
