The good news is unplugging the wastegate didn't cause any oil leaks. The bad news is there are at least half a dozen places on the top of the motor that are fairly common leakers.
Best best is to wash the engine down with simple green and a garden hose then check it when the source is more noticeable. Some common leak points are the turbo mount o-rings, the turbo pedestal mount o-rings, the fitting on the back of the HPOP, the oil rail plugs along the inside of each head, and the actuator rod for the exhaust backpressure valve where it exits the pedestal.
Common places for a leak- turbo pedistal, EBPV actuator, HPOP lines, HPOP "non serviceable" plug. Since you said its just a drip I'd lean toward turbo pedistal or EBPV. If you find a puddle of oil in your engine valley then HPOP is more likely the culprit.
