New Gauges for 90 f-150
Ok so I got bored after I cleaned up the truck. I opened up the dash and got in there and cleaned it all out too. While I was doing this I was lookin at all the gauges and I wanted to know if anyone had changed the apperance of them? It donst look like it would be too hard if you have the right materials. What I was thinking about doing was changing the green lights all around to BLUE to match the truck. In the lower part of the dash where the Lights and Wiper switches are there is just a plastic green piece that dont look to hard to change to blue. If anyone has done somthin like this or has sugestions they would be appreciated! Thanks

the only problem i would see doing that is getting the clear pice off without tearing up the gauges, its probably bonded on there, and it can sometimes be pretty hard to get off. another idea is take the gauges inside, scan them, do some photshoping, print it out on transfer paper or something and put it on a thin piece of plastic, or whatever those faces are made of.

Well I was thinking about doing just that . Except when I pulled the speedometer off, the troblesome part is the yellow dial, the black part that has numbers is easy is easy to get off and everything is bonded together. On the back of the black part is a white with a green sheet in the middle? It could just be white and black. The Black part of it is really thick so I would have to place somthing over that and that wont let light through. So that is last resort, I mostly want the Glow at night, but I dont care if it dosnt look like the original.
