Schaffers transmission fluid???

Anyone here run this in their auto trannys?

I'm gonna install a BTS VB and might as well switch to synthetic trans fluid.

If not Schaffers then what does everyone run?

Thanks in advance

Andrew

I run Schaeffers in my BTS trans as that's what Brian recommended when I bought it.

Schaeffer's has been in my BTS from day one. It's what goes in all of Brian's transmissions at the shop, as far as I know. He had several drums of it last time I was there. I've had no complaints from it, and I think it is contributing to my low trans temps.

^^^ Same here in my '95 with the BTS tranny. That's what he trusts and puts in his built trannies. Brian has also said that Mobil fully synthetic ATF is a good product also. I put Schaeffer's in my stock trans last year, but when I thought I was having some trouble with the transmission, Brian said to just run regular ATF because the Schaeffer's is TOO slick for the stock clutches. I'll ask him about it more next week when I order my VB.

I have been running Schaeffer Tranny fluid for about 70000 miles. I recently have seen my temps running a little warmer than normal. I will be changing it pretty soon. I hope to see those temps come back down.

I'm running it blended with a bit of whatever else was in there that I couldn't get out with my failed tranny flush attempt. So far no problems.
