Still no engine upgrade!

 

I like the front end and headlights and taillights!! The interior is pretty good also. And the lava color and tuxedo black should look really nice! I am also disapointed about the lack of power upgrades.

According to Ford they spent billions on the new F-150 yet the same engines? Does this make sense? It amazes me the illogic beghavior in corporations. Like can't get the Platinum series outside a crew. Totally stupid.

 

I wish I could get the headlights and the 4X4 system on a Lariat, though I would rather have 2wd, 4-low, and all-wheel drive. Too bad they don't have an engine upgrade (6.2) or at least a supercharger.

 

I like the steering wheel. It doesn't say Harley Davidson on it. Yet.

I like the look of it actually. I think it looks a lot better then the previous version.

 

Yes big gap with engine devlopment vs. rest of truck. Don't these guys get paid based on performance?

Now in 2 years it may seem between "ok" and "great" but what a gap. I still say who the heck would have thought back in 2003 when we bought our new 04s that 5 years later in 2008 the "upgraded" 5.4L would have only 10 more hp and 0 more tq! unfrikin' beleiveable.

 

I didn't realize it was 0tq added, what was the point of adding the extra horsepower?

 

Not sure. So they could say it had "more".

 

Thats all they have to offer?

Wow, I am unimpressed by that as a supposedly special truck.


A surpercharged v10 in it slapping down 700 hp would have made me dream.

that just made me yawn....although the seats do look cool, i will give them that.

 

I don't like the seats with that 3" recessed belly button. Something tells me if you try to get comfortable and shift your weight on a long drive, your scapula is going to fit right in there. However, they look a little nicer than the 2008 Harley Davidson. Still says HD WAY too many times though.

Love the grill. Not in love with the lava. Hoping for the 6.2. I don't understand why they can't just make it an option. I cant wait to see the black hopeful you can get an all black interior. that would be bad a$$

 

heck yeh my thoughts exactly. they should either offer the 6.2 in it or the v10 or a supercharged 5.4 at least.
