Hey thanks however I don't think my system admin guy can whitelist the site for me as these are government computers.

Does anyone know of a place in the Phoenix/Casa Grande/Tucson area that stocks the drop-in bed-liners?

If I get one, the purpose would be to hide the beat up wheel wells, in which case, I don't think that the roll-on/spray-on stuff would be very helpful.

You would be better off sand blasting the bed and getting the roll-on/ spray-on stuff. The drop in bedliners let water get under them and the it rusts the hell outta your bed. Just my 2 cents worth. We had one and when we took the bed liner out the bed was shot, had to replace it. Also the plastic drop ins get torn up pretty easily in my experience (sp?).

Then again you are in AZ so water isn't that much of a concern I guess. However if you are going to be using the truck to haul anything the plastic bedliners do get torn up relatively easily.

That's what I'm screaming! I loved the look of my '83 F250 (dang I miss that truck!). Also, anytime I park my '93 Bronco next to the neighbor's Chevy Tahoe (ala DPS) ... well, it's easy to see which truck has class and which is an overpriced patrol car.

Welcome Beastly Jim. Glad to see a newbie who posts.

Yeah, water isn't really an issue here. I know what you mean though. I grew up in Portland, OR. I've seen some rain in my time.

I don't expect to be hauling much. I'm mostly interested in a relatively inexpensive cosmetic fix more than anything. This truck's already done the duty, and like I have said in some other posts, she's gonna have an easy retirement.

Thanks Rob! I have to say, I sure like the two-tone on your ride.

I'm thinking that I might just have to have my small dents on the hood, and tailgate fixed, and then have a hunter green/jade green two-tone put on this truck.

I used to have a 98 Ranger that had a jade green two-tone, and man did it look sharp when it was clean.

Just a thought, how much would it cost to snag a bed from a junk yard?

I don't think I'm expressing the bed condition very well.

It's not so beat up that it's a problem, and I'm not sure that it would be easy to find a bed in any better condition in a junk yard, at least without spending and arm, and a leg.

The outside is in really good condition, while the inside is just average. I just think a drop-in bedliner would be a relatively inexpensive way to dress it up a little more, without having to go to a lot of effort.

A couple of years ago I took the one out of my truck , it was in excellent condition and I couldn't even give it away. I ended up cutting it up and throwing it away.
