7700 lbs with me, an empty bed (with a figerglass tonneau) and almost a full tank of gas (full for a normal tank, but about 7 gal short for my harpooned one). My front end comes in at over 4300lbs (the diesel engine block weighs over 1000lbs on its own).

I guess that 9600 would be about right with the extras that I have. No wonder I only get 12 mpg's.

With summer fuel, and keeping it to a tops of 60 mph, I average 17. In the winter its in the 13 range. My truck weights in at just over 9k.

After I bought my '08' went to a Cat scale to see what it weighed before I added anything. This with me(210#) and full fuel tank.

Steer axle 3900lbs
Drive axle 3320lbs
Total weight 7220lbs

Need to get back and weigh it one of these days to see with tools and misc now.

Then I put in a 4 x 8 sheet of exterior plywood, a 2' tool box with about 500# of chains, binders, etc., and an ARE truck cap, with a few mods, mostly fiber glass. I keep loaded air pressure all the time. Get around 11 mpg. And it drives like a 787 DREAM LINER.

With that long wheel base, really a smooth ride.

8360lbs with just me (175), a few things in the bed and a full tank of diesel. That leaves me a whopping 1600lbs payload...
