I would mix it 50/50 with diesel in one tank, make sure if its used thats its filtered really well. Depending on where you are, I wouldn't do it until summer tho. During the summer I put about 10 gal of cotton seed oil in one tank and it never had a problem with it.

It will work fine, just keep one tank of "Clean" fuel to start and stop on. If your in cold climate you may need to blend the oil with diesel or kerosene to prevent gelling.

filter BEFORE putting it in the truck. I would first get a screen mesh filter from the fertilizer section from Tractor Supply, then I would filter it through a 2 micron fuel filter

Everyone does it differently, some heat it some dont. I screen off all the big chunks then heat it before filtering then it goes through 2 1 micron house waterfilters back to back, and the final filter is a Goldenrod water absorbing filter.
Oh yeah even though your gonna run it in the summer, keep and extra fuel filter in the truck just incase.

Water and injector nozzles don't go well together so as already said: getting as much water out as you can is GOOD!
