I was pretty sure everything was a direct bolt-in swap if you stayed with Ford F-Series Parts. Thanks for confirming!

All the other reservoir has is a second return line port.

If you want to tee the two return lines together, it should work just fine.

I went with a new pump when I did mine, the old one was getting a little weak.

Mine is solid, but I did buy a new unit from Ford when I did my swap.

You need a power steering pump pulley puller.
The puller pulls the pulley off and also presses the pulley back on.

About 20 bucks at AP stores, I got mine at Advance Auto.
If you get the right one it will also do the vacuum pump pulley.
They were out of the right one when I purchased mine, so I modified the one I got with a grinder so I could do both pulley's.

Mine looks like this, but says Ford on the package.
Power steering pump pulley puller/installer

And it looks like the price has increased, I have had mine for years.
The two half pieces grab the groove in the pulley hub and the threaded part of the puller.
Then you slide the ring over the half shells to hold them together.
Turn the shaft to pull the pulley off.
Install works the other way, thread the bolt into the power steering pump shaft, turn the nut to push the pulley on the shaft.

Using any other type of puller or press will damage the pump and the pulley.

Yes, the hydraboost alone was just under 400 dollars several years ago.

This is off topic, but how do you like that winch bumper? I have the same one with a Ramsey 12K winch in it, that I am going to install on my truck but it doesn't rap around the sides as far as the factory bumper, and I was wondering how it would look. Do you have anymore picture from the side? I tried holding the bumper up there with an engine hoist to see what it would look like but it is still hard to tell. I don't want to waste all the time making the brackets if I am not going to like how it looks.

I ain't never seen one that spins, I think that's a press fit there, but from the inside of the casting out. This is actually your pressure accumulator, thing is full of gas (nitrogen IIRC) and has a piston in it, so the fact it's spinning don't necessarily mean tis bad.

On the PS pumps, you can swap just the reservoirs if your pump puts out good pressure (steering feels light). You can T-ee the hoses together, but that's not recommended as under unique situations of steering and braking at the same time the combined flow from both the hydroboost and the steering gear box can be more than a T-ee can handle. If you do decide to T-ee them, make sure the return line from the hydroboost is the one that has the straight shot through the T-ee, and the line from the steering gear box comes in to the side port of the fitting. However. I'd recommend you just do it right with the hydroboost-specific pump reservoir, especially since you already got the darn thing.
