97 F-350 Manual Hard To Shift
I've got a 97 F-350 4x4 with the 7.3 and a 5spd manual. I has a new clutch with less than 10,000 miles. It is very hard to shift even double clutching it, sometimes the gears won't align. I've replace the slave cylinder but it still seems like the clutch pedal won't fully release the clutch from the flywheel. The pedal assembly has some excess movement but not much. Just wondering if anyone out there has a the same or similar problem. Any suggestions would be appriciated.

check your clutch pedal bushing under the dash .the plastic bushing wears out and the eye and post gets worn . a little bit of play there ends up to be a lot disengageing the clutch and thats what it sounds like is happening . there is a real good fix (if thats your problem) a lil heim joint offered on e bay that replaces that whole eye and post. i think its called permanent clutch fix . i put one on mine and it solved the problems i was having.
