I think the truck looks good!!!!! CB

You can fit those 35's with no lift. My old man had some Rough Country shocks on his bronco back in the 80s and they broke, I mean, the shafts literally broke, and the truck wasn't wheeled hard.

Well said!

allot of people... mostly hard core wheelers do think body lifts suck. I don't wheel my truck to often but there are some things that I have noticed....

first off the bolts that come with the lift kits SUCK!!! like I said in my original post I installed the body lift cause I had the box and front clip off... the proper bolts aren't available from ford any more... and I thought a body lift kit would solve that problem... and give me a bit of a lift... the thing is the bolts that come with the kits are only like grade 5 or so, not strong enough inmo.

I've noticed that the bolts that are holding the box on are starting to pull through the washers that came with the kit... add to that I've had to remove them a couple of times during my resto and the heads of the bolts are starting to ware off!!! I think the lesson is... whether your installing a body lift or just replacing the bolts... use grade 8 hardware!

The only other thing I don't like about the body lift is I'm getting allot of frame flex... I noticed right away that my box and cab flex way, way more than it used too... probably not a big deal but it kinda bothers me... like when I park my truck on a slope or uneven ground and you look at it and the box and cab sides are not in line.. It just don't look right.

Now don't get me wrong... body lifts are ok and all but capt-kirk had some good advice... if ya want to lift your truck... save your pennies and do a suspension lift... You'll be way happier.

just my two cents......

A good question. I said the same thing when I first saw the pic. Biggest thing is the slope of the parking lot but the 408 stroker and fully loaded Mattco rollaway box under the blue tarp did in front of the axles drop the rear about 1.5 inches.
I wish those springs were soft. speed bumps are a bitch

Too much tongue weight. Need a longer trailer so you can move the truck back further, and move the toolbox back too.

Or, maybe some airbags in the back.

MMMMAAAANNNN ALL of those trucks are fantastic looking. I was planning on removing the lift from my 97 F250 but I think yall changed my mind. i may look into the SKYJACKER front springs. The rear of my trucks sits high anyway.

Sorry about the crappy iPhone pic. It's all I have right now.

I'd love to see some more F350s!

Ok, so it used to be an F250 then I swapped in the D60 so now its a 350 in my eyes. Dont poke fun at the fact that it has no front driveshaft in this pic, or the fact that the tires are too small. It has a4" spring lift and a 4.5" Front shackle reversal and 4.5" Rear Shackle flip for a total of 8.5". Tires are 38" mud grapplers but Nitto's idea of a 38" and mine are about 2" different, the tape says closer to 36".

The bumper I built
