2001 F-150 4.2 Exhaust

I have a 2001 F-150 4.2 Truck. I am thinking about putting a 40 series Flowmaster and putting dual exhaust straight out the back. Flowmaster told me to just put on and put 2 pipes to it. Will this sound pretty good. I need help fast. I want a great sounding exhaust. Thanks. Jason

2001 F-150 4.2 Exhaust

Hey Jason,
I installed a Gibson Cat back system with split rear duals. The system cost me around $250 and was pretty easy to put on. It gives hardly any sound in the interior but gives a low big block gurgle outside. If you want a more aggressive sound, I would look into the 50 series flowmaster with delta flow technology. Both are good set-ups. Hope this helps.
