clicked on join chapter and got blank page

Hey Smoky, yes there is a problem with the links in the new software.
BUT you can still join the VA chapter by going to your UserCp, user control panel, and click on group memberships on the left hand side of the page.
Scroll down to the VA chapter and click the circle next to the chapter. Then scroll down to where it shows "Join Chapter" and click this.
Will should then see your request and approve you.
