NO......... I got it cause the speaker on the One 130 went up. They are replacing it under warranty but warranty runs out in august. This one that I have now is an Go 730 and was advertised at Best Buy for $120 off, I couldn't pass it up. I needed a bigger screen and a louder unit.

 

How accurate are the Tom Tom's???

I have a garmin Nuvi 350 and every once in a while it gets stupid..

Tells me turn right when I know I need a left.

 

I have never had a problem except for the speaker thing and customer support is very good with them, they are giving me an new 130. I am giving it to Shaun's (Fire240) cousin

 

TomTom's get daily or bi daily updates on maps, poi's and gpsfix (sat update)

 

That is a good feature.. Garmin you have to buy a map update for $80.00..

Ok, Lew should be Proud of me I added Hooters as an poi on my tomtom.

 

well with tomtom you do have to get the update download once a year for $80 also but it covers you for the whole year, if there is a new road it will update your map with it. Sorta like a subscription

 

I don't know if Garmin is the same..
