Good day to you all!
My wife had to let the secret out about my surprise birthday party planned for tonight when the concrete company put the wrong color of stain on our patio. It's now fixed, and I know that people are coming, but ... who cares. Should be a good time.
Tomorrow we get to help out at the school's carnival, then head out to see from friends from church in their respective bands. Maybe Sunday I can rest after I pack for the next trip.

busy weekend for me, finishing annual on a dump truck, wheel seals 4 tires oil lube all filters, no brake lights, no tail lights, air leaks, brakes out of adjustment. lousy previous maintenance.
need to move about 2,000 yards of dirt, finish tiling kitchen at our church, remove front end loader off of a tractor I sold. other than that not much happening this weekend.

Time for me to get ready to leave. The Parent-Teacher organization at my wife's school is hosting their annual carnival today. But, so few parents volunteered to help that the teachers are now coming in for an unpaid work day to staff the booths. So, we lucky spouses are being called in for backup.
Oh well, it's good for the kids. That's what matters most.

Olympus Evolt 500 Digital SLR with 75 to 300 mm Zoom Lens.
I worked 6 hours today then went people watching...just finished downloading the 200 pics I took so far today...
Heading over to the bank, My check just came in the mail...Woohoo!
Now I have been paid for 6 of the 9 weeks I was off...I need to finagle some paperwork from HR to see if I can get 1 more weeks pay...now that I am back to work my next check will come in 2 weeks!

Good evening everyone!
Looks like I might be the last post of Feb, I would start a March thread but Bart accuses me of staying up on purpose to start them. lol.
Well Chase got the job today!!! I am most excited that it is only down the street from us, makes it much easier for me since I will be his driver for the next few weeks.
