So on fridays during the summer i work out at Ocean Speedway as a push truck driver.

We have built a 1970 Ford 250 as a water tender truck for when we have cars on fire... The truck has turned out Amazing! I will get some more pics for yall later.... But we have one issue! The drivers side grill is busted! So i told them i knew a few guys with these style trucks and i would try and find a grill for it... Any one that could help out will be greatly appreciated!

There are two different types of this 1970 left grille insert.

DOTZ8151A .. Left Side Grille Insert / Use before serial # J30,001 / Obsolete.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

DOTZ8150B .. Right/Left Grille Insert / Use after serial # J30,001 / Obsolete.

This grille insert has been reproduced and is available from most of the aftermarket parts vendors.

carolinaclassics.com (800-598-4211) shows it on page 21 in their catalog: $60.00.

 

I had some good luck finding replacements at a pick and pull for my '70. I am amazed at how good of shape the grille shell is on your truck. Very nice.
