I just picked up a 2007 F-150 Harley Davidson AWD in purple
It was a middle age couple's, they bought it new in 07 and decided to finally trade it in for a new truck. I do not think the backseat has even been sat in.
The thing is crazy clean, and I am thrilled to be back in a .
Now to get educated in the 5.4, and yes the two piece spark plugs have all been replaced, thank goodness!

New to me in Utah
2008, 4.6, 2wd. Traded a 91 Jeep YJ for it. So far I really like the truck: its so much easier to get in and out of, rides nice, gets great economy (compared to that Jeep!) It needs some work: I have an oil leak, coolant leak, check engine lights, ABS and TPMS lights that all popped up since I got it home. Needs tires, etc. But it's nothing I can't handle. Got new plugs and COPs coming (got a misfire on #4, but I'm going to do all of them). Got a front wheel speed sensor coming too. I'm thinking to flush out the tone ring and mounting hole too with brake cleen. (DTC's of C1297, P0304 and P316). So Saturday will be busy. Already gave it a new tank of gas, a bath and a rifle rack. Stereo is amazingly good, even with just one speaker working!

Currently replacing engine with a brand new reman that is fitted with all the parts to solve cam phaser & timing issues (thanks to FordTechMakuloco).
Currently in the shop for the reman 5.4L, tranny service, all fluids, dif services, new PS pump and hoses, new SS brake lines, new dumped exhaust incl cat, intake (full k&n) new brakes & rotors, fuel filter, fuel leveling, and for some reason the previous owner removed the front wheel well protectors that shield the engine from debris coming off the tires, so I got those on the way.
I am hoping to keep most suspension/steering as long as it's good until I get a leveling kit, new rims & tires, then I'll replace all steering components and suspension (tax return). I don't need a lift, but it does need new tires and I will get polished chrome rims with it (17's). Looking to get some beefy M/T tires and a rough country leveling kit with some nicey beefy suspension upgrades. This will have to wait until my tax returns come in, assuming I don't owe.
Needs: Bedliner, New front bumper (dinged & want square fog lights), grille, heated mirrors, running boards (rusted), some body touch ups around fenders and tailgate (rust), in channel window visors (has ugly stick ons and they don't work), tonneau cover, black headlights, taillights & 3rd brake light (not tinted). And lastly, possibly a grille guard b/c I live in NW Montana and the first night driving it almost hit a deer. If it had been darker at night and my lights more visible, I would have nailed it but got lucky it kept moving. VERY lucky.
I did notice when driving it for the first week that the multi function switch was very easy to turn the wipers on or to a different setting. I noticed this because it was raining and every time I would hit the turn signal I would switch the speed, so I will get a new one that hopefully isnt as playful. One other thing I really want to add, is a dash cam (front & rear) as well as a back-up cam. I replaced the crappy stereo in it with a single din kenwood so I could Bluetooth with it, but I will be upgrading the entire stereo system to a double din, infinity kappa speakers all amped, and at least a single 10" sub. I listen to metal/rock... so one 10" is plenty.
I am also not a fan of the chrome siding it has. I am certain I will replace that with black bedliner when I get the bed done with Line-X.

I came from a 2003 Silverado, so just the build quality alone of the ford compared to the Chevy is amazing. Chevy had a whole lot of cheap plastic everywhere . Basically anything that wasn’t metal was really cheap plastic. The ride quality is on a whole other level, car like is a good way to describe it. I like the leather seats compared to the Cloth seats I had in the Chevy is nice. The 5.4 has soooo much more power and all together more responsive then the 4.8 the Chevy had.and this truck is a 4x4, which is awesome. Just all around a better truck to me.
