Part number help... Ed I need your help on this one

I need the part number for steering arm that runs from the Pitman arm down to the passenger tire steering linkage. The damn thing sheered off the bolt from the pitman arm . needless to say this has not been my night.

I'll get a new thread and pics tomorrow when its bright but I wanna order this thing now lol

You know I was gonna call you to see if you knew what it was called haha. I kid you not Jim, I was backing into a spot at school, was just barely puttin any pressure on the steering wheel, and I heard CLUNK and the wheel flewwwwww to the right spinning from where I was just barely puttin pressure. Thank the Lord it didnt happen on the interstate. So now the school has a 4ton lawn ornament lol.

I think that it is the drag link. I broke one on a truck a couple of years ago. The steering wheel goes but the wheels don't now?

2001 F250 Super Duty 4WD

A short draglink (6C3Z3304D) attaches to the Pitman Arm.

Then there's a coupler that connects the short drag link to the long draglink (6C3Z3A131H) which attaches to the right tie rod (4C3Z3A131AD).

The right tie rod connects to the spindle.

6C3Z3304D .. Draglink-Short (6C3Z3304D replaced: F81Z3304BA)

MSRP: $48.63 // FTEpartsguy.com price: $35.02
-----------------------------------------------
6C3Z3A131H .. Draglink-Long (6C3Z3A131H replaced: F81Z3304AA)

MSRP: $97.17 // FTEpartsguy.com price: $69.96
-----------------------------------------------
4C3Z3A131AD .. Right Outer Tie Rod (4C3Z3A131AD replaced: F81Z3A131AA)

MSRP: $218.00 // FTEpartsguy.com price: $104.64

If only the short draglink broke at the Pitman Arm, that's prolly all you need. The coupler rarely needs to be replaced.

Sometimes it's better to P/M Ed, then wait for a response in a thread. Ed's a parts manager, and is always busy doing something.
