Let's just suppose....
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Nov-01 AT 11:30 PM (EST)]....that a guy who put a Flowmaster 40 series muffler (single in, duel out) was utterly dissapointed with the way it sounded on his 93 F-150 w/302. Doesn't sound much better than stock!! Is it possible to punch out the back cat without removing the whole darn exhaust system from the manifolds? Will this screw up the computer part somehow? How would you get all the shattered pieces out? Will they blow out? Maybe next summer this guy cold afford a free-flow but he wants to be sure it'll sound good before he invests the money. Just supposing.....

Let's just suppose....
Since 93's still OBD I, it shouldn't screw with the computer. Punching out a cat or replacing it with a stright pipe will make it slightly louder, but you probably won't notice much unless you are listening for it.
