Its on the drivers side up high. Will the injectors do this as well as the valves?

 

Did you check to make sure it's not a spark plug wire arcing on the engine?

 

I had this ticking noise since I bought my truck new in 2004. Just got new cylinder heads put on last week due to scarred cylinders. Ford ESP took care of it. I say take it in and have it checked out, especially if you have a warranty.
