I remember our 770... and our 880... think I'll stick with the Fords, haha. Someone around here hit a cow with a Dodge Neon the other day. Stupid season has already started.

That reminds me,a few years ago somebody hit a horse with a Ford F150 not far from my grandpa's farm.Well, the description matched my dad's truck,so the sheriff started lookin for my dad.Well, when the horse was hit,my dad was in Florida along with his truck. He hadn't been up in Indiana for 6 years.Last I heard, they're still lookin for him.lol.

Damage was estimated at 5,000 dollars, and the damage included a bent frame.I only put PIP coverage on it cause I figured I could fix it myself if I ever wrecked it.Boy was I wrong. So it's a total loss.According to the Firefighters,if I hadn't been wearing my seatbelt,I woulda been thrown through the windshield.I'm only 16,so I got crap from the Highway patrol about it.Apparently,if you're 16,and you get in a wreck, the police automatically think you were speeding and did something stupid. The damage I did to the truck looks like I was going 30+.Now here's the reason I wasn't given a ticket. When the Highway Patrol officer did the investigation, she took a couple things into account.1,I walked away without a scratch.2,I had no burns or anything from the Airbag. And 3,I had no pain in my neck or anywhere else, which means that I wasn't thrown forward with whiplash or anything. So the Officer came to the conclusion that there was no way I was going over 15 MPH,cause anything more than that and I woulda been seriously injured. But I got hell from my Mom over it,and My girlfriend now thinks that my Ranger tried to kill me,and that if I get another,it'll try to kill me too.The biggest lesson I learned from this is that I need to have a used vehicle inspected for problems before I buy it or trust it like I did the Ranger.I sure do miss that truck.
I know this post it a couple months old but that's ok. Man I feel you pain I had a beautiful 01 Ranger and I ended up getting cut off and I couldn't stop in time so I ran into the back of someone at about 50 and the other person I would say was going about 20 and I totaled my truck I did have insurance but they only paid about 7k which was only about half of what I owed on it so it was a loss on my part too. I still miss that truck and that was Jan of 07. Now I got this hunk of junk <a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00109.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00109.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00108.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00108.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00107.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00107.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00106.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00106.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00105.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00105.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00104.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00104.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00103.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/IMG00103.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/3k03mf3p45Y65O25Q6a5rf3760bd6420d11.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/3k03mf3p45Y65O25Q6a5rf3760bd6420d11.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/3o53p33lf5V05T65W0a5r77dd4c7fc79a1f.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/3o53p33lf5V05T65W0a5r77dd4c7fc79a1f.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a><a href="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/3k13o23le5V35O35T1a5rc6f8265216d117.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p33/jc_33777/3k13o23le5V35O35T1a5rc6f8265216d117.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375"></a>

Sorry about your loss man.I still miss my truck too even after a year. What's worse is I frequent junkyards alot, and two of my local junkyards have everything I would've needed to fix my truck. The trucks in the junkyard are even the same color as my Ranger was. Some other guy took my truck from the towing company, fixed it up with the wrong parts, and now drives it himself. It's real hard seeing someone else driving your pride and joy.

I had this truck before the Ranger, but now it's the only truck I have.I'm kinda in the same boat as you.lol.

This's My 88 150 with a 5.0 When I got it, it had been sitting for 5 years under a pine tree(many of you guys know how that goes). The paint was faded, the roof was starting to show some rust, and it wouldn't crank. Thanks to all the fuel that had ruined the fuel system. Got it home, popped on some new fuel pumps, replaced the old battery, and it started right up. Then the project began, and has yet to stop. I hope it never does
