Ripping off the mufflers should not cause any differance in the vehicles emissions. The mufflers only quite the exhaust sounds. I still have the stock cats on my truck. I only ripped off everything from the cat back and replaced it with a larger diameter and shorter lenght pipe. Actually, I just got it inspected a week ago and I had no problem..

Im not 100% happy with the exhaust tone with this setup. I want it to sound a little more sporty. Im thinking glasspacks. I will post an update when I put the new mp3s out there. Hopefully they will be of better quality.
