is it possible to work with what you have? or is it simpler to just get the new pins?
i have the same issue, lots of road noise and daylight showing through the top along the pillar. my dad and i tried unsuccessfully to tighten the bolts and wiggle the pins around. we figured out how to make it worse...but not better
New pins and bushings are the way to go if they are loose. Easy to check by just grabbing the bottom of the door at the back and lift up. If its loose replace the pins and bushings and see where you stand.
As for the top of the door (window frame) they bend ou over time of slamming the door. A simple adjustment (stand in the door way, knee just below the window, pull inward to bend it just a LITTLE!) works very well.
x3 on hinges. if you adjust door with worn pins you'll have to adjust it again when you eventually replace them. might as well get new strikers too.
it took about 4 hours to do both of my doors and would have been easier/faster with a helper to hold everything straight. i ended up using a floor jack instead.
i had to do a fair bit of grinding and banging- my old pins didn't want to come out very easily.
You can get the pins at Napa under a brand called "HELP" as I recall. I only had to replace the top pin and that in its self did the trick. I found it easier to scribe around the hinge plate on the door (To replace in the same spot) then unbolt that part of the hinge. Makes replacing the bushings more enjoyable.
If you decide to bend in the top of the door like TJ suggested be sure to roll the window all the way down or...pooof, no more glass. Don't ask LOL The door was aligned perfect though.

YES!! I thought about that but it didn't make it down to my fingers! WINDOW DOWN!
