1999 F250 Rear End Sag
Hello everyone,
I've been a member for a while, when I was looking to purchase an F250 or 350. I ended up with a '99 F250 with low mileage. It's a V10, ex cab, short box 4x4 truck. I love it, and plan to upgrade some things. Already ddi the tires, now its time to get it sitting right.
As I'm sure everyone here knows, the F250s have a 2" rear block, and they sit "level" or "*** down" as it looks to me. I really want the F350 "*** up" look with the 4" blocks, but am having a tough time getting the parts I need.
I began at Ford, but being special order I wont get it for a while, and have no chance to return if the part isn't right. I decided to look used, and called nearly every yard by me, to no avail. What I would like to know is, is there an aftermarket block I can purchase that wlll give me what I want? I'm not interested in a lift, I just want the F350 look to my truck.
Thanks in advance.

Yes. Most all of the major lift companies have blocks from 2-6" and the appropriate ubolts. Get a rough idea how much higher you want the back to sit, then add the 2" stock block to that figure, then measure the ubolts and make them long enough to fit with the new blocks. While you are measuring, look at the bolt style. I am pretty sure it's a round bolt and not square U design. The diameter is probably about 7/16", but double check it.
Pro Comp, Fabtech, Super Lift, Rancho, and many others have blocks/ubolts available and there isn't enough difference to recommend one over another. check your local parts stores and if you have to, Advanced can have Keystone drop ship what ever you need.
