cause my 85 idi drops battery bad i replaced the altontor and reglor but the frist ower hacked it up bad

 

How is it hacked up/what do you mean it's hacked up? Have you thought about upgrading the alt cable? When the Alt is "working" what amperages are you receiving? Also what kinda of battery are you running? I'm not a "wire guru" though, but i'll try to help with whatever i can.

drops battery, like batt goes dead, or funny things happen while it's running?
it's hard not to laugh at those pix. That's how my first truck was wired up. If you're out this way, I have an endless supply of electrical tape & zip ties.
