Question How many bikers are on here?

I was just wondering since we're talking about a cruise for the FTE'ers out there, how many of us on here are bikers too? I know it aint got nothing to do with trucks, but some of us are into bikes too Maybe we can share some riding routes? Or cruising routes for old F100's?

Terry,

Count me in. I've had a motorcycle license longer than I've had a car license. My brother and I take a trip every year, we only have two rules;

1. Don't backtrack
2. No interstates

Other than that we don't have any schedules, no real destinations, nothing. I love it!

Bobby

Note: I put a bunch of miles on the bike yesterday..........gotta love the desert

One mite consider me a biker. I currently have 1981 FLH, 2008 Hardtail ratrod chopper bobber and 2001 RoadGlide. Between them I put in some 20,000 miles. I put a few miles in today, I love Colorado.

I'm one, too!

Last September my buddy and I rode from N. Georgia to Indy (for the MotoGP), and back. A 2000 mile round trip and we didn't hit an interstate until 15 miles south of Indy. Here's my Aprilia in tourning trim:

I'm also a dirt biker, in fact tomorrow I'll probably put in 50 to 75 miles off-road. We'll be hanging ribbons for our club's dual sport ride.

Been working at a Honda, Yamaha, Aprilia, Sea-Doo, Can-Am dealership for the past 16 years. I've put 35,000 miles on the above bike. It's a limited edition (one of 200 worldwide, 50 in the USA) 1000cc V-Twin, 135 HP, 408 lbs, carbon fiber, carbon kevlar, aluminum and titanium frame and the best suspension and brakes money can buy.

I also like to do a track day every now and then, my track bike is another Aprilia:

Yeah, I'm a biker!

Count me in. Got my license at 14 and now 47 years later I've never been without a bike. I ride by the same rules. No backtracking and no interstates.

My wife and I have made several trips out to Montana, Wyoming Utah & Colorado. Had a great time, saw a lot of things that pictures can't capture and we always try to do at least one big trip every year.

Mine really isn't a cruiser, but I still love it. Just got the new paint job this last summer. It's a real eye turner now.

I guess I'd have to peddle real fast to keep up. My bike is a Specialized mountain bike and I haven't ridden it for 2-3 years.

Traveling with the wife is great! Health problems have stoped my wife from riding but we spent 20 years taking trips together. We did two 8,000 mile trips from our home in Florida to the west coast. We had a matching pair of Yamaha FZR1000's:

We even rode these bikes to N Carolina to get married.

My wife doesn't ride anymore but she still understands and encourages me to ride as often and far as I wish.

It doesn't get any better than that!

Believe it or not, my old man wouldn't let me buy a car when I was 16, he was convinced I'd do nothing but work on it! (He was right) So instead he let me get a bike. Had one (or more) ever since (21 and counting), except during the Dark Years. Those are over so I'm back, on Harleys for the moment. '91 FXRS with a Dave Mackey ported and polished engine, S&S "E" carb, cams, etc. Hey Bobby, we definitely need to do a ride this year!

DB -- love those Aprilia's, too!

My inheritance: My father had proclaimed it, but fell on hard times and had to sell it, so my younger half brother bought it, tore it all apart and redid it. Here's the end result. If I'm lucky, I may end up with the tv, lol.

Talking

I didnt know how this thread would turn out? But I felt like there was some cool cats on here I love to ride too, but I dont get too far from home on the bike or in the truck. I too have a wonderful wife who likes to ride bikes as much as loves old F100's I hope to do a little more riding this year. I have a 2003 Suzuki 1500 Intruder, that I rebuilt from a wreck and painted to match my truck. I changed a few things and made it my "own". I'll try to find some good pics of it?
