Flywheel interchangebility quation
well, we assembly one more aero, we have engine, tranny (a4LD) and starter, but there is no flywheel.
My friend is in LA now and he visited some JY and called me, that all cars there are not so old and he asks a quation what other flywheel fits aerostar.
They have 2000-'08 cars there....
May be Ranger 3.0 made, may be taurus... but what years?
There is a JY in 40 miles from LA, but hey say, look for and unscrew parts yourself.... ouh! my friens is not a mechanic....
So I need your help guys!

Thats your friends problem, he went to the arsehole of the country to look for a part. people in LA don't even like them selfs. He should of came out here to the midwest where people are helpfull and friendly. I mean as long as he doesn't work for the KGB or anything ha ha. Good luck with your search buddy !!!!!!!

I also suggested a place in LA where he might find a used flywheel. Pablo has another thread on this topic, where I posted the info.
btw: Did'ja happen to notice where I live? LA = LOS ANGELES, CA.

Now I know all.
Flexplate of Taurus has different bolt pattern, and TC too.
But ringears are the same:
Teeth: 135
O.D.: 11.30"
So I can use Taurus ringear!!!! IT IS GOOD becouse shipping time from the USA is more then 2 weeks.

No I don't drive either of my jeeps in the winter, at least on salty roads. They are reserved for classic status and restoration. However, they still see a lot of off road.

Seems to me there is a reason to reserve some aeros for classic status.
My friend wants to imnport some classicas USSR cars and bykes. he sais that no tax for import if car is older then 20 years....
I know a guy who found old Dodge WC51 in Greese and imported to Ukraine... He drives around Kiev..... He loves this truck
