I have a 1993 Ford F150 Manual Trans. 4.9 Inline 6. My fuel pump is not working (no humm when I turn ignition on). At first, if I got into the bed of the truck and jumped up and down really hard over where the fuel pump is, (really technical, I know) it would start up. Now that genius trick isn't working anymore. I pulled the code, it says 452 PCM to Ground. Could it be the connection in the wiring harness that plugs into the pump?
I was able to pry off the connector to the pump without dropping the tank/pulling off the bed (i have now done both, pulling off the bed is MUCH easier). tested the voltage, which was fine. Thought about it for a minute, flipped a coin, and drank some whiskey. went and got a new pump, slapped her in there, turned the key... fired right up. Thanks for your help!!

LOL, must have been the whiskey! I chased fuel related gremlins on mine for months and found a bad connection at the pump, a bad pump and just to make it even more painful, I replaced some parts that weren't bad. The woes of an old truck.
