I've been reading the posts for nearly a year and I don't know for sure if this question has ever been truely answered. If you take your truck in for the infamous spark plug change (5.43V) and they break something and totally have to tear the truck apart to fix it, is it covered under the original factory warranty? Is there a definitive answer?
only if the plugs break during the process of fixing another issue
most commonly this occurs on the 05 models when the injectors fail open...this fouls that cylinder's plug. if that plug breaks during removal, the warranty will cover the cost for extracting/replacing that 1 plug only
