I had it happen years ago when my trailer lights shorted and blew the ABS fuse. Not sure if that will help you. My brakes worked just fine but no ABS

I have a Jeep with the ABS light on, brakes work fine. Took it to get the code read, he said its something in the torque converter ???? Suggested going to a tranny shop and they could tell me exactly what it meant.

Check the hub sensor connections (follow the lead from the hub, to just inside the fender skirt) clean with electric parts cleaner, then clear the codes.

You will have breaks just no abs. Clean the sensors as mentioned on both front wheels. There are three sensors that can fail. 2 on D/P front wheels and 1 in back on axle housing. If you knew what sensor is giving you problems you can do it yourself.

EDIT. Dealer also told me the abs light will come on if you have low break fluid?
