Talking IT'S HOME- and a call for help.

I just drove my truck home from the paint shop. I was a little nervous since I did not have lights or turn signals. I used back streets and arm signals to get home.

I looked over the paint job. It is not perfect, but it is great for the price and better than I expected.

Here is my call for help. I am going to need some help putting it together on an upcoming weekend. I know next weekend is short notice, but I was wondering about Sunday, Jan 18th? It is a three day weekend for some of us. I will provide food and beverage and truck parts. If that weekend doesn't work, then maybe we can meet up on January 31st.

I have a couple of big canopies to put up if it starts raining.

Here are the photos. The color is greener than appears since this was after sunset and in a shadow.

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Putting all the interior stuff back on,the bumpers, the lights, the firewall shield, heater, heater controls, speedometer cluster, floor cover, headliner, grille, trim, door handles and locks, door seals, door window felts, sun visors, tail gate latch, wipers, seatbelts and many other things that I forgot about.

I forgot to also say, "Thanks Dan." He brought down the the rear window from my old cab to Petaluma last night. You can see it worked fine.

I am near the Catholic church on Nebraska and Tuolumne. It is a pretty safe neighborhood. I am probably the most dangerous neighbor.

I'll send out directions through a private message as we get closer to the date.

I think Sunday will work. I'm most likely helping a friend move from Petaluma to Santa Rosa this weekend as well, but I think I can do that Saturday...I'll check with him and see what his schedule looks like.

So I can get enough food, how many people can make it Sunday, Jan. 18th? I am thinking of starting around 10:30 or so. All are welcome and stop on by when you want. There will be plenty of work.

Dan, I would appreciate it if you could bring your truck as a reference. Its ok, if you can't though.

Once I get an accurate count of who can come, I will send out directions.

Thanks,
Karl

Actually, I was planning to bring my truck as I'll be using it to help my friend Ryan with his move on Saturday.

But if Mike's gonna be there, maybe I'll go find something else to do Sunday instead...
