Chevy so bad can't get rid of them
Guy I work with has a 99 Ch**y pickup. Today he told me he'd like to get rid of the piece of **** and get either a Dodge or a Ford (obviously he hasn't done all his homework yet!). Says the tranny keeps leaking out the drive shaft, the dealer fixes and it still leaks. He had to have new leaf springs too. These and other problems keep him at the dealer a lot. Said he paid $28,000 for this thing and the dealer told him it would go for about $18,000--and it's only two years old! Had he bought a Ford truck it would be worth a whole lot more, but then he wouldn't be trying to sell it either.

I hear many stories of new chevies having repeated problems...strange. I have also heard a few fords and many many dodges having repeated problems. I guess any truck can have them but dodge and chevy have more than thier share. Did the older chevies have these type of problems? we have an 85 suburban and its been a good towing/hauling truck althought i hate to drive cause its so damn unresponsive.
